About
Our client, a well-established IT services provider, is seeking a Senior IT Support Analyst (Level 2) to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT support to small and medium-sized businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technical support services, from desktop and server configuration to network infrastructure and cloud-based solutions.
What You Will Do
- Provide responsive helpdesk support for internal and client systems.
- Act as the primary IT contact for clients, managing hardware, software, and network issues.
- Configure and deploy workstations, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Install, support, and troubleshoot software across servers, networks, and endpoints.
- Manage and maintain systems including Windows Server (2012-2022), Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Hyper-V, VMware, and Cisco Meraki.
- Implement and support security protocols, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Deliver on-site user training and provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex technical issues and document proactive solutions.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve IT processes and recommend new technologies.
- Assist with onboarding new managed services clients and conduct pre-contract assessments.
- Maintain KPIs and certifications as required.
What You Bring
- Associate or bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical support within small to medium-sized business environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, and Teams.
- 2-3 years of experience managing Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Azure workloads.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V or equivalent), security, storage, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with tools such as VEEAM, SentinelOne, and hyperconverged platforms is preferred.
- Certifications such as MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, A+, Network+, or ITIL v3/4 are highly desirable.
- Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and composure.
- Willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed.
